COST CONTROL COORDINATOR needed in the Norco, LA area

• Long Term Contract Position
• Full Benefits Offered


We’re looking for a Cost Control Coordinator who will be expected to:
• Work on and coordinate a cost system for a refinery turnaround.
• Facilitate that the cost system aligns with the established WBS elements.
• Assist with ensuring that the cost system can be broken down into the various plant units.
• Facilitate that the cost system tracks all associated costs (i.e. labor, materials, equipment, subs, and other).
• Establish a budget and providing forecast at completion costs.
• Coordinate a small cost team in order to accomplish required tasks.
• Be responsible for invoice processing activities, monthly / daily cost reporting, trending analysis, cost variance analysis, accruals and cash flow activities.
Desired Skills: 
The ideal Cost Control Coordinator will have:
• 6+ years of experience as a Cost Control Coordinator.
• Previous experience as a Cost Control Coordinator on an oil refinery turnaround project.
• The ability to work well with the client as well as other contract personnel.
• Good leadership qualities.
• A good work ethic.
• No reservations in committing for the duration of the turnaround.
• No reservations to working longer turnaround hours during the turnaround.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Good working experience with SAP.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A B.S. in Accounting (a plus but not required).
• Active TWIC Card.
