MAINTENANCE PLANNER NEEDED FOR THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE AREA
Long Term Need

• Piping or Mechanical Background Needed
• 5+ years of experience in planning in a refinery or petrochemical environment.

The Maintenance Planner (Run & Maintain) will be expected to:
• Update construction schedule.
• Collaborate with construction contractors to provide accurate updates.
• Provide detailed job plans from contractor estimates.
• Attend project management construction meetings.
• Attend project management meetings at engineering or contractor’s office when requested.
• Collaborate with project managers about constructability.
• Participate in field walkdowns.
• Attend interactive planning sessions when needed.
• Work closely with construction cost engineering in order to gather estimates from the contractors.
Desired Skills: 
The ideal Maintenance Planner will have:
• Piping or Mechanical Background.
• 5+ years of experience in planning in a refinery or petrochemical environment.
• 3+ years of experience working with Primavera, MS Project or other scheduling tools.
• Extensive knowledge of various mechanical skills (pipe fitting, welding, boiler making, electrical, rotating equipment, instrumentation, X-ray techniques and interpretation).
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs, etc.
• The ability to understand field changes and red-line drawings.
• The ability to coordinate the work activities and schedules of multi-craft field work crews.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with MOC process and PSSR (pre-startup safety reviews) process.
• Basic safety training and/or site-specific training.
• A Safety Champion mindset – portrays a personal example of excellent safety, performance, and commitment.
