Job Description: 
Logistics Support Planner Scheduler needed for contract position in Norco, LA.

The Logistics Support Planner Scheduler works under technical direction, policies, and procedures. They must verify compliance to quality plans according the company’s goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform work activities efficiently while continuously looking for cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with paperwork and SAP entry for logistics/scheduling (checking for Bills of Lading(B/Ls) and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) on inbound feedstock).
• Maintain SAP entry for rail cars and trucks of feedstock.
• Submit quarterly reports to the USDA.
• Issue Product Transfer Documents (PTDs) for finished products.
• Conduct production forecasts (runout for R99).
• Schedule ULSD injections for finished product tanks.
• Assist with outbound scheduling.
• Create and share personal safety plan with work group and Diamond Green Diesel.
• Demonstrate understanding of and verifies compliance with safety standards, work practices, work permit requirements, and various safety systems.
• Trained to safely access field areas to observe work being performed.
• Trained/fit-tested on usage of SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) equipment and various respirators.
• Trained in use of standard PPE (hard hat, gloves, eye, and hearing protection).
• Trained to access scaffolds and ladders using fall protection PPE.
Desired Skills: 
The ideal Logistics Support Planner Scheduler must have:

• Minimum of 5 years of quality related experience on projects or turnarounds in petrochemical industry (preferred).
• Good teamwork, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with multiple workgroups.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Basic safety training and/or site-specific training.
