Job Description: 
Piping Designer needed in Tulsa, OK

• 6-8 Month contract

The Piping Designer will assist Engineering and Operations in complying with the Facility Data Management Programs and will also:

• Support the Designer and will assist in the overall engineering design effort of Operational Excellence and Engineering & Construction Projects, when necessary, by developing and/or compiling the required design and construction information from various sources including; site studies, vendor drawings, catalog data, engineering sketches, reference drawings and input from other disciplines.
• Perform facility as-built walk-downs to develop, update and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s), Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID’s), Facility Plot Plans, Electrical Hazardous Area Classification Plans, Electrical One Line diagrams, Emergency Operating Procedure drawings, Cause and Effect Matrix and other drawings that may be required.
• Provide technical support, designs, and drawings for complex engineering projects.
• Plan and conduct work requiring independent evaluation, also assumes responsibility for contribution to the success of a project.
• Create designs for pipeline and related facilities based on scope requirements provided by internal business partners. Prepares working plans and detail drawings and maps according to standards and specifications.
• Communicate with internal and external business partners to determine needs and satisfaction.
• Review plans, designs, drawings, and maps conform to applicable codes, standards, specifications and the requirements of internal business partners.
• Develop and maintain facility drawings for Plants, Stations, and above ground appurtenances in support Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Tactical, and as necessary Engineering & Construction (E&C) projects ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• See that accurate, timely, and efficient design and delivery of drawings from conception to as-built state and continued maintenance and updates afterwards. These drawings and documents include Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s), Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID’s), Facility Plot Plans, Electrical Hazardous Area Classification Plans, Electrical One Line diagrams, Schematics, Emergency Operating Procedure drawings, Cause and Effect Matrixes, Relief System Design data, and other drawings that may be required.
Desired Skills: 
The ideal Piping Designer will have:

• 6-8 years of piping design experience
• Experience with compressor stations
• Proficient with P&IDs
• AutoCAD and CADWorx preferred
• TWIC required, No per diem offered
