Job Description: 
Piping Designer needed in Tulsa, OK.

Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend longer.
The main function of a Designer V is responsible for assisting Engineering and Operations in complying with the Facility Data Management Programs. The Piping Designer must have CadWorx, 6-8 years of Piping Design experience, experience with Compressor Stations, deep knowledge of P&IDs. This person will come in and work on Capital projects meaning new construction. The work will be focused on big facilities design. AutoCAD Plant 3D is a plus. New work is done in CadWorx but there are some designs that were done in AutoCAD Plant 3D. No travel is required.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the Designer and will assist in the overall engineering design effort of Operational Excellence and Engineering & Construction Projects, when necessary, by developing and/or compiling the required design and construction information from various sources including; site studies, vendor drawings, catalog data, engineering sketches, reference drawings and input from other disciplines.
• Performs facility as-built walk-downs to develop, update and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s), Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID’s), Facility Plot Plans, Electrical Hazardous Area Classification Plans, Electrical One Line diagrams, Emergency Operating Procedure drawings, Cause and Effect Matrix and other drawings that may be required.
• Provides technical support, designs, and drawings for complex engineering projects.
• Creates designs for pipeline and related facilities based on scope requirements provided by internal business partners. Prepares working plans and detail drawings and maps according to standards and specifications.
• Reviews that plans, designs, drawings, and maps conform to applicable codes, standards, specifications and the requirements of internal business partners.
• Develops and maintains facility drawings for Plants, Stations, and above ground appurtenances in support Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Tactical, and as necessary Engineering & Construction (E&C) projects ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Creates accurate, timely, and efficient design and delivery of drawings from conception to as-built state and continued maintenance and updates afterwards. These drawings and documents include Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s), Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID’s), Facility Plot Plans, Electrical Hazardous Area Classification Plans, Electrical One Line diagrams, Schematics, Emergency Operating Procedure drawings, Cause and Effect Matrixes, Relief System Design data, and other drawings that may be required.
Desired Skills: 
• Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images.
• Experience with Adobe imaging software (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop), computer aided design (CAD) software and graphics software.
- Extensive knowledge in CADWorx 2D & 3D design required. Knowledge in using AutoCAD Plant 3D a plus.
