• Supporting: Maintenance and Turnaround group

The Rotating Equipment Planner who will be expected to:
• Planning for turnaround work including duration, resources, and manpower.
• Providing the overall integrated resource loaded work steps to the project scheduler.
• Working closely with the Maintenance Turnaround Scheduler to integrate project work scope into detailed resource loaded turnaround schedules.
• Providing detailed material sheets for each job package.
• Inputting job steps for all resources into the planning tool, including operations, third parties, and outside contractors.
• Highlighting problem areas and recommending remedial actions as necessary.
• Acting as a liaison with all team leaders in order to communicate required completion dates and interfaces between the responsible parties.
• Applying refining experience including maintenance associated with all pipe fitting, boilermaker, welding, scaffolding, insulation, and laborer crafts for execution activities.
• Planning discovery work during the execution phase of the turnaround.
• Issuing and tracking pre-shutdown fabrication work excluding capital projects.
• Participating in scope collection/challenge meetings in order to gain an understanding of the scope details as well as helping to define a true turnaround scope.
• Interfacing with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) as well as technical engineers to verify proper inclusion of all job steps and sequencing.
Desired Skills: 
The ideal Rotating Equipment Planner will have:

• Strong millwright background and extensive knowledge of rotating equipment.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Experience as Maintenance Planner in Petro-Chemical Industry.
• Working with Primavera is a plus.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs.
• The ability to understand field changes and red-line drawings.
• Active TWIC Card.
