Direct Hire / Staff Position with Plant Just Outside Baton Rouge Area

We need to hire several Analyzer Technicians who will be responsible for:
• Installing and maintaining process analyzer equipment such as Gas Chromatographs, TDL, CEMS systems, IR, Mass spectrometer, and other technologies used for component measurements.
• Occasionally performing other I/E related work and broader duties that support the goals and objectives of the maintenance department.
• Maintaining, updating, reporting, requisitioning, and documenting the analyzer department records and resources to assure availability and dependability of test equipment, tools, spare parts, outside repairs, specifications, equipment history, vendor resources, and library resources.
• Maintaining protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and or transport our products, as our highest priority.
• Providing attention to detail, and dedication to work in order to ensure reliability of the work site as well as high quality product.
Desired Skills: 
The ideal Analyzer Technicians will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related technical degree / certification from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of direct experience in the I&E Maintenance field.
• Experience in a chemical manufacturing facility preferred.
• The ability to understand complex analyzer sample systems and analyzer instrumentation.
• The ability to do component replacements, and software required to keep systems in working order.
• An understanding of environmental requirements of systems in service.
• The ability to read and understand P&ID’s, loop diagrams, schematics, flow charts, etc.
• Experience overseeing and creating PM’s and their schedules.
