Project Controls Analyst Needed for a Midstream Company in Denver, Colorado
• Per Diem is not being offered
• Estimated Start Date: Immediate Need
• Estimated Project Duration: Long Term
• Work Schedule: 9/80 – every other Friday Off
• Full Benefits & PTO Package
• Some Midstream Project Controls Experience Preferred
• Well Rounded in both Cost and Schedule Functions

The Project Controls Analyst role plays a huge part in developing, running and maintaining standard Project Controls and Financial reports, used in Capital and Expense project forecasting and planning cycles.

• Responsible for reporting developed and implemented to support assigned projects or areas.
• Responsible for all ad hoc analysis requested to make business decisions.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of existing and new data sources and help analyze the needs for integration.
• Identify and automate labor-intensive reporting tasks. Liaise between project teams and internal organizations to translate user's needs from large sets of raw data to usable information.
• Create end user Excel reports from data retrievals
• Update standard monthly reporting packages for Projects Group
• Support Project Group in monthly variance analysis research
• Report monthly on financial/cost center information

• Coordinate the forecast updating process.
• Issue Reports for Closed Projects and Stage Changes
• Update Cost Center Reports & Graphs and develop variance trends
• Update Contractor Head count Graphs for monthly Projects Review
• Update Department Metrics, KPI’s and develop trends.
• Facilitate the delivery of the Schedule data and develop Milestone Reporting.
• Support the Project Performance Manager w/ misc. ad-hoc reports, meetings, etc.
Desired Skills: 
The ideal Project Controls Analyst will have:

• Demonstrated skill in project controls including budget and schedule management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
• A keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated skill to work with the following programs on an advanced level in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• The ability to effectively multi-task in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
• The ability to organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines with a minimum of supervision.
• The ability to understand and rapidly respond to a broad range of demands for multiple projects.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and protect information and documents appropriately.
• The ability to work as part of a team using excellent professional interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of business accounting, purchasing, contractual and technical terminology.
